This year, the first stage of this concert will be a collection of sacred works by American and Canadian composers. All the pieces are very attractive with beautiful and sophisticated melodies and harmonies. Please enjoy the sound of the continent.
The second stage will feature Gaia's voice trainer, Sumihito Uesugi, who will give a wonderful performance of countertenor. Mr. Uesugi, who is active on the world stage, will captivate the audience with his outstanding technique and expressive power.
The third stage will be a performance of Matsushita's work "On our Planet. The audience will be able to enjoy the splendor of Shuntaro Tanikawa's poetry in all five pieces. The final piece, "This Year," is especially appropriate for the New Year. Please look forward to "On This Star" under the baton of the composer.
